MICRO-BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT

Once MAPLE is invited to communities, the members get an opportunity to attend the MAPLE Business Skills training which empowers and challenges members to start small businesses, as well as improve on already existing skills. 

Community members have used funds from their savings groups to build their own businesses like operating grocery shops, poultry farming, and produce selling, among others through which they have successfully achieved their dreams. The community members work closely with the MAPLE staff to learn all about sustainable business practices, and design their successful business plans.
