MAPLE HUB AND INDIGENOUS YOUTH

We work with the community youth leaders from Malalwe-Chanko Community (who retains one of the few old-growth forest remnants in the area) through hands on mutual learning, decision-making through community documentary, dialogues and participatory mapping for sustainable forest livelihoods and environmental education.

From our local headquarters office, now based in the beautiful lake city of Villarrica in the heart of Mapuche ancestral territory, we connect communities of Budi and First Nations elsewhere to key specialists, organizations and like-minded individuals through collaborative initiatives and projects that link activities such as science, education, culture, environment and fair exchange.
